Luigi Di Maio
, the
former foreign minister, is the winner of the first Italian Meme Festival as
the most 'meme' character of 2022
.
At the '
Memissima' Festival,
celebrated yesterday evening in Turin, 10 prizes were awarded in the various categories in the competition including politics, current affairs, art and more.
The prize was then awarded for the most viral meme of the year, delivered to the 'Aqtr' page (Aggiornamenti Quotidiani Terza Repubblica).
The winners were chosen by the combination of the vote of the jury and that of the followers of the Memissima/Meme Awards event page through the Festival's Instagram page.
A real wave has therefore overwhelmed the web thanks to the pages that have joined the festival, creating an uninterrupted communication flow for over a week.
Not only 'big' pages because, until November 15th, all memers had the opportunity to participate in the event by sending their memes to @memissimafestival, the event's Instagram profile.
